- Adobe Premiere Pro, sold separately by Adobe, to finish the video.

How it works
Give it a topic
- One line about the video, and one of five formats: Top, Storytelling, Digest, Short story and News.
Read the outline
- Layro researches the topic and outlines the chapters. You see the outline before any text is written.
Edit the script
- Layro writes the script and hands it back already cut into scenes. You edit it inline.
Choose a voice
- Listen to a voice before you commit to it. Every word is timed; change one line and only that piece is voiced again.
Plan the shots
- Layro writes a brief for every scene and looks for footage against it. Licensed stock fills what it can.
Pick the footage
- You choose the rest from the candidates, or mark moments on the web with the Layro browser extension.
Open it in Premiere Pro
- Titles, lower thirds and transitions come from a library matched to the video. You get the edit as a Premiere Pro project and finish the video there.

Questions
Is Layro the same as Lyro?
No. Lyro is the customer-support chatbot made by Tidio. Layro is a separate product, at layro.ai, for making long-form YouTube videos.
Does Layro export a finished video?
No. Layro gives you the edit as an Adobe Premiere Pro project, with a Premiere XML of the same cut in case the project won’t open. You finish and export the video in Premiere Pro.
What do I need besides Layro?
Adobe Premiere Pro, which Adobe sells separately. You finish the video there.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free is a one-time starter pack — 3 voice minutes, 120 credits and scripts up to 2,000 characters — enough for the intro and one chapter. No card is needed.
How much does Layro cost?
Creator $49, Pro $99 and Shark $199 a month, or $39, $79 and $159 a month billed yearly. Prices are in USD, excluding tax, and you can cancel any time.
Where does the footage come from?
Licensed stock fills what it can. You choose the rest from the candidates Layro finds, or from moments you mark on the web with the Layro browser extension.
Does talking to the producer use credits?
No. Chatting with the producer uses no credits. Work the producer runs for you, like writing the script or planning shots, does.
Can I use my own voice API key?
Yes, an ElevenLabs key on any paid plan. Voicing on your own key never uses your voice minutes.
