Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Layro, operated by LLC "Layers" (ТОВ "Лейерс"), a limited liability company registered in Ukraine under registration number (EDRPOU) 45972380, with its registered address at 18 Marka Vovchka St., Building 3, Office 27, Kyiv 04073, Ukraine ("we", "us", or "our"), available at layro.ai (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our pricing page. All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual)
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions are honored until renewal
- Failed payments may result in suspension of access to paid features
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles order inquiries and returns, and is responsible for collecting any VAT or sales tax due in your country. By providing payment information, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms.
Refunds. You can get a full refund of any subscription payment — your first and every renewal, monthly or annual — if you ask within 14 days of that payment, no questions asked. An annual payment can also be refunded in part between day 15 and day 30, in proportion to the time left in the year. A credit or voice-minute pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase for the part you have not used. Ask through Paddle at paddle.net or by writing to us; Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method. The full rules are in our Refund Policy, and nothing in it limits your rights under Paddle's buyer terms or the consumer law that applies to you.
4. Free tier, credits, fair use and referral rewards
We may offer a free tier as a one-time starter allowance of credits and voice minutes. Free-tier availability, limits, and features may change at any time without notice.
Credits and voice minutes — free, included in a plan, bought separately, or received as a referral reward — have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash; a purchased pack can be refunded under our Refund Policy. A plan's allowance that is not used within its billing period does not carry over.
Chat with the producer. Talking to the producer — the assistant that helps you build a video — does not use credits on any plan. It is offered under fair use: it is meant for a person working on their own videos, and we may limit how many requests can be sent to keep the Service fast for everyone. We may slow down or pause chat for an account whose use goes far beyond that — for example automated or scripted traffic, or use that has nothing to do with making videos — and we will tell you if we do. Work the producer starts for you, such as generating images or video or voicing a script, uses credits and voice minutes exactly as it would if you started it yourself.
Referral rewards are granted only after the referred person has been on a paid plan for 14 days. We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through self-referral, duplicate accounts, or other abuse.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that Your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
6. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate scripts, images, voiceovers, and videos. You acknowledge that:
- AI outputs may not always be accurate, appropriate, or unique
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publishing
- Ownership of AI-generated content is subject to applicable law in your jurisdiction
- We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from third-party intellectual property claims
- AI models are provided by third parties — each one named on our Subprocessors page — and your use of them is subject to their own acceptable use policies
7. Acceptable use
The rules below are the core of our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms and sets out the full list — including rules on voice and likeness, on third-party material, and on platform integrity. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory content
- Create sexual or pornographic content, or graphic violence or gore
- Create face swaps, deepfakes, or non-consensual intimate imagery, or use anyone's likeness or voice without their consent
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute malware or engage in phishing
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For the severe violations listed in our Acceptable Use Policy we act without prior notice.
How we enforce these rules.
- Prompts sent to image and video generators are screened automatically, and a request that breaks these rules is refused before anything is generated
- Anyone can report material that breaks these rules, as described in our Acceptable Use Policy. A person reviews every report: we do not remove material or close accounts by automated decision
- Copyright complaints follow the notice-and-takedown procedure in our Copyright Policy. When a valid notice concerns material in a project, we disable access to it and block its source from being added again, and the user can answer with a counter-notice
- Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are terminated under the repeat-infringer policy in our Copyright Policy
- When we remove material or restrict an account, we tell the account owner what we did, why, and how to contest it, unless the law or the safety of others prevents it
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.
9. Availability and support
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We provide support on a best-effort basis via email.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Actions of third-party AI providers
- Content generated by AI that may be inaccurate or infringing
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion, except the records our Privacy Policy says we keep and where retention is required by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
13. YouTube and other third-party services
Some features of the Service use YouTube API Services — for example, showing the details of a YouTube video you add to a project. By using those features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and YouTube's handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. How we use YouTube API Services is described in our Privacy Policy. Other services the Service works with are listed on our Subprocessors page, and their own terms apply to your use of them.
14. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you may close your account.
