Questions about billing
Adobe Premiere Pro, sold separately by Adobe. Layro hands over the edit as a Premiere Pro project — scenes, voiceover and titles on the timeline, with a Premiere XML beside it as a fallback. You open it in Premiere Pro to finish the video and export it; Layro does not export a finished video file.
Credits pay for AI work: writing the outline and the script, cutting it into scenes, planning shots, and generating a picture or a video clip. A short script uses a few credits; a generated video clip uses more. Every paid step shows that it uses credits before you start it. Credits are an allowance for using Layro, not money: they have no cash value.
Voice minutes pay for the voiceover: one minute is one minute of generated speech, re-voiced parts included. Before a chapter is voiced, Layro checks that your minutes cover it, so a chapter never stops halfway.
No. Chatting with the producer uses no credits on any plan; fair use applies, as set out in the Terms. When the producer runs AI work for you, such as planning shots, that work uses credits as if you had pressed the button yourself.
A one-time starter pack: 3 voice minutes, 120 credits and scripts up to 2,000 characters. That is enough for the intro and one chapter of a video. Upgrade any time to finish the same project.
Add more from your account settings at any time. Credits: $10 → 500 credits, $25 → 1,400 credits, $50 → 3,000 credits. Voice minutes: $39 → 30 minutes, $69 → 60 minutes, $129 → 120 minutes.
Yes, for the voiceover provider, ElevenLabs, on paid plans. Connect your own key under Settings → Integrations, and voicing on it is billed by that provider directly instead of using your Layro minutes.
A seat lets you invite a contractor to source footage for your projects without sharing your own account. The contractor signs up for a free Layro account, so a seat costs you nothing extra beyond your plan: Creator includes 2, Pro includes 5 and Shark includes 12.
Yes, 20% less, charged once a year: Creator $468 a year ($39 a month), Pro $948 a year ($79 a month) and Shark $1,908 a year ($159 a month). Minutes and credits still arrive every month.
Yes. Invite a friend, and once they have been on a paid plan for 14 days you get 30 voice minutes and 600 credits, and they get 15 voice minutes and 300 credits.
Yes, from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access to paid features until then.
